File Uploads and Adding Links
Uploading / Sharing Files
Sharing files with conference participants is easy: you can upload them through Campuswire or share a link if they are accessible at another publicly accessible url.
Note that files uploaded through Campuswire are accessible for anyone online that has the url, so consider them public (though they basically cannot be found without the link).
Links to your files will appear on the schedule on campuswire for easy access for participants.
For presentation files, such as poster files, lightning talk videos or slides (or any other files you’d like to share in connection with your presentation), we ask you to do the following:
Name your file using your abstract number (initial digits in your chatroom number; also see here) followed by the type of file (what you’d like us to use as link text; e.g., Poster, Slides, Video, etc.)
Share external url or file as attachment in your presentations chatroom: go to chatroom and click on paper clip icon in the message box.
Select file to upload from your computer
Share any relevant info/requests in a message.
We will paste the link in relevant places (unless you tell us not to for a given file)
It may also be helpful to share your file in the same way in your presentation’s Chatroom in the same way as well, as when you do so, it will show up in the ‘Shared Files’ section in the side bar on the right in your Chatroom
